I think that that this quote means to always be obedient. Obedience is the key to freedom. The more obedient you are the more freedom you'll get. I also think that this quote means you should always do what's right. This quote also means that, if you’re never obedient then you will get punished often. It also means that you should always be obedient. If you’re disobedient then you won’t have that much freedom as other people. Or you may not have any freedom at all. If you are always obedient then might have more freedom than other people. For example: If I never obey anyone or anything, then I’m being disobedient. Example: If I follow the rules and do what I’m said to do then, I’m being obedient. I believe if you’re obedient then more people will respect you. If you’re being disobedient then no one will listen to you because you never did what the person asked you to do.
