"Goodness is the only investment that never fails." Henry David Thoreau I think that this means that we should always do good deeds when ever we can. I also think it means that doing good things never fails. I think it also means that we should always do the right thing. An example of this quote can be like those teens who are going to grow up in prison. All of those teens were sentenced for a long time other were sentenced to life in prison. An example of doing good can be the video of "Passing it forward". They spent two hours of their day just to random acts of kindness. 

"In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing." Theodore Roosevelt I think that this quote means that we should always do the right thing. I also think that this quote means that we should never do the wrong thing. I think that it also means that we should always try doing the right thing when given opportunity. An example of this quote can be the video Mr. Haymore showed us. It was about an Indian boy who was determined to find manhood and his way of finding that was, through climbing a mountain. He reached the top of the mountain and saw a snake and decided to take it back to the valley so it wouldn't die and it ended up biting him. 

"Nothing is ever gained in doing what's wrong." Wilford Wood-ruff  I think that this quote means exactly what it says. You can't gain anything from doing the wrong thing. If you do the wrong thing you won't gain anything from it. I also think it means that we should always do the right thing. It also means that  we shouldn't do  bad things that others are doing even though everyone is doing it. Why? because it's wrong and you gain nothing from it. This quote also means that we should never do wrong in our lives EVER.
